It is with great joy and due respect to such a historic and great album that we announce the release of Trail of Tears‘ debut “Disclosure in Red” for the first time on vinyl.

Almost three decades have already passed since it appeared and yet listening to it, the listener immediately understands why it is one of the most influential albums in the history of Gothic metal.

From the first moment when Ronny Thorsen‘s screams greet the listener, alternating with Helena Iren Michaelsen‘s enchanting voice on “When Silence Cries“, to the last song “The Burden” with its haunting riff, quality remains at high levels.

As we eagerly await their new album, let’s take a step-by-step look at their vast legacy, starting where it all began.

“After nearly 27 years, our first-born Disclosure in Red is finally released for the first time on vinyl, thanks to the good people at The Circle!

We were thrilled when approached about the possibility of doing this vinyl release, knowing that everything will be handled with grace, and given the respect it deserves. The album brings back so many fond memories of innocent times, youthful naivety and bravery, not to mention countless adventures. Thanks to Anthony and DSFA Records, a group of clueless teenagers from the rural countryside of Norway was given a chance, and all of a sudden found themselves touring the world almost overnight after the release, making life-long memories in the process.

Here we are over a quarter of a century later, and this thing is still living a life on its own. Thank you The Circle for the trust! There is more to come!”
