Pink Panther Project unveils dark electronic ballad “Intoxicating Embrace”
Rising electro-industrial outfit Pink Panther Project has released their latest single “Intoxicating Embrace”. The track comes off the band’s debut album of the same name, set for release in Double CD and digital formats on 16th September via The Circle Music and Marian Whores.
“Intoxicating Embrace” marks a departure from the band’s previously released energetic single, “Morticia Addams”. The new track, which opens the album, explores a more introspective and melodic territory, showcasing the ethereal vocals of Uela against a backdrop of haunting electronic soundscapes. The lyrics paint a vivid picture of lost love, with the poignant line “I’ll be the centrepiece at the market fair, but no one will see the love we used to share” resonating deeply.
Formed in London in 2023, Pink Panther Project is gradually gaining attention for their unique blend of EBM, industrial, and dance music infused with pop. The band, comprised of Uela, Alex K., and Ether Mu., aims to create a fresh and electrifying sound that defies categorisation.
“We wanted to make a varied record, with danceable and melodic songs, a little crazy if you like, and we succeeded,” says Uela. “While ‘Morticia Addams’ was the more energetic dance track, Intoxicating Embrace” is a prime example of our ability to also create emotionally charged music. Get ready to bleed your hearts out with our music.”
Uela’s distinctive vocals and songwriting prowess are at the heart of Pink Panther Project’s sound. Her lyrics, combined with the band’s innovative production, create a powerful and immersive listening experience.
