John Ven is the guitarist and songwriter of the gothic rock band After Dusk. Since 2014, in parallel with his band, he deals with a personal goth side project under his name, in which as an artist creates music in its entirety, singing, playing guitar, bass, keyboard and programming. 

“Shadowland” includes five songs on familiar paths of anthemic goth rock sound, as known to us in the 90′, in combination with guitar driven industrial and metal elements, filtered through a modern production prism.

In “Shadowland” I had the pleasure of creating the entire music and that itself was a challenge for me.
