Neoclassical and darkwave veterans Autumn Tears have unveiled a music video for a new track, “The Knell Of My Birth Hymn”, off their upcoming album, “Crown of the Clairvoyant”. The track and video features Francesca Nicoli from the revered Italian neoclassical band Ataraxia.
The lyrics of “The Knell of my Birth Hymn” cover profound themes, with lines such as “There is no stillness beneath the sun / And I feel brave to have touched the sky” and “My blood trickles upon a golden rose / It’s petals hold fast against angry winds”. The track evokes a sense of both the ephemeral nature of existence and a quiet strength, culminating in imagery like “Serene and majestic is my garden grave”.
The release of “The Knell of My Birth Hymn” is the second video from the upcoming album following the release of “The Light That Shapes Us”. The new album is set to be released on 22 September via The Circle Music and is a continuation of the concept started with their 2023 album, “Guardian of the Pale”.
